Dear faithful partners in ministry,
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19
The verse given above is a testimony to the faithfulness of God, and to the generous gifts of God’s people. We appreciate so much those that responded above that which we could have expected. We are blessed to have faithful friends to “go the extra mile” in our time of need.
I mentioned in a previous letter about the possibility of us having to move from the house we have been renting since April of 2004. Thankfully, the owner of the house was willing to work with us, and lowered the rent approximately $125/month. Another thing that has helped us has been the increase of the dollar over the past two months when we have exchanged money. I really hate to talk about money, but we wanted to express our appreciation to those of you that have “stepped up to the plate” on our behalf. Our support level is approximately 72% now, so please keep us in your prayers regarding this matter.
I also mentioned in that previous letter that we had begun to disciple a young couple. We are still discipling them, but with them both getting new jobs, it has been difficult for them to keep a regular schedule. Please keep Adriano and Cléia in your prayers. They have been living together for some time, and even have a three-year-old daughter. They are planning to be married on December 20, and then baptized on December 31 during our Watch-night Service. We want to thank the Lord for putting it on the heart of some of our dear friends to send a special love offering to help us with our vehicle repair. God has been so good to us, that we want to briefly share with you some recent happenings and prayer requests regarding upcoming activities.
This past Sunday, August 31, we baptized two girls that Becky led to the Lord, and they have been faithful since they got saved. We had 59 in attendance Sunday night. The girls “Bell Choir” also played two songs for our special music, and they are doing really well.
We have designated September as “Tract Month,” and we want to see how many tracts that we can hand out personally to individuals with whom we come in contact. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear faithful partners in ministry,
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you…” Phil. 1:3
We greet you in the wonderful and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We often think of you that are faithfully giving and praying for the Bennett family – your ministry outreach in Osasco, Brazil.
We have been very busy since we returned to Brazil in March after a four month mini-furlough from November 2007 until March 2008. We hit the ground running as our church’s missions conference was in April, and there was much planning and preparation to be done. We increased our commitments for our Faith Promise missions offering, and we even had one of our men surrender his life to missions. It was exciting to see God working in our young church as the faith of these new Christians is growing.
